HOSHINOYA Okinawa will sit right in front of a reef pool (“Ino” in Okinawan), a place where guests can gaze at the ocean through a shallow pool surrounded by coral reefs. The facility will be surrounded by walls inspired by "gusuku" - the world-renowned historical castle sites at the Amami Islands comprised of wooden buildings surrounded by walls made from the Okinawan Ryukyu limestone rock.
