Finding Something?

Memories from Sicily : Spadafora

Location: Comune di Spadafora, Province of Messina, Sicily, Italy

Getting lost in the vineyards of Spadafora.

Wine production is part and parcel of Sicilian history. The earliest record dates back about 4000 years.

The climate, the rocky soil, and the terrain are ideal for growing grape varieties used in producing flavorful reds and whites.

Sicilian wines are not as popular as Tuscan wines, but are slowly gaining traction with the wine-loving community.

I had no idea that Sicily has so much greenery and an also known for the their growing vineyards, I’ll have to keep this in mind and share with my hubby for when he purchases wine. Though I’m not able to drink right now, since I’m pregnant, I’d love to give it a try afterwards! Thanks for sharing and I hope you’re having a great Monday so far!
