Wherever in the world you may be, sunsets are always captivating. But, sunsets in Luang Prabang have something more to them, something beyond beauty. They have this almost magical, seemingly tangible quality to them. Every golden ray of sunset seems to come together at some point, as they hold time – that time between day and night – still. At that point, seconds pass by slowly. Moments do not fleet past you, as quickly as they often do.
Then, suddenly, twilight has turned to dusk. Everyone who bore witness to the display are left in awe.
