Finding Something?

The Olympian Hong Kong

The Olympian Hong Kong

With its quiet launch in the 8th of March 2016, it is quite surprising that Sino Hotels’ newest property has already made the headlines. Press and media have been hailing it as one of Hong Kong’s most private accommodations. In a city teeming with hotel options, how does The Olympian Hong Kong differentiate itself from the rest?

The Olympian Hong Kong

When you think of home, what images are conjured up in your mind? The Olympian Hong Kong may not be serving up the kind of domesticity that comes to mind, but if you want to put homey and lavish in one sentence, describing this property is a surefire way of doing so.

But, this property is more than just an alluring façade. Behind the opulent lobby lies a quiet, cozy enclave seemingly detached from the busy streets of the city.

Unexpectedly housed in the first two floors of a gated residential high-rise in West Kowloon’s Tai Kok Tsui district, The Olympian Hong Kong is right where a Hong Kongese home is expected to be. A regal chandelier cascades down the spacious atrium. Plush seats stand ready. Imposing orchid arrangements fill the air with an endearing scent.

But, this property is more than just an alluring façade. Behind the opulent lobby lies a quiet, cozy enclave seemingly detached from the busy streets of the city. Everything has been designed to create a certain sense of continuity for guests – home and hotel somehow becomes equivalent. This 32-room property revolves around combining utmost convenience with unparalleled exclusivity. The room layouts resemble apartment layouts. Step out of the door, and Guest Relations Ambassadors tend to your every need without being the least bit intrusive.

The Olympian Hong Kong

Hotels are meant to be a traveler’s home away from home. Demanding to feel at home in a foreign environment, though, is usually too much to ask of any hotel, but The Olympian Hong Kong does not seem to be struggling – here, it seems to be outperforming everyone else.
