Following the successful launch of the Kerry brand in Beijing and Shanghai, Shangri-La Hotels and Resorts launched the Kerry Hotel in Hong Kong‘s Hung Hom district in the Summer of 2017. In a span of two decades, it is the first hotel to open along the Kowloon waterfront.

This 320-room hotel brands itself as an urban resort – a term coined by the property to describe a relaxed haven far from the chaos of the city, but still within the metro.

With that unique idea in mind, the whole space was designed to mimic water and its movement, creating a property that blends seamlessly with its surroundings: From the curved architecture that reminds of the soft silhouette of the waves to the lobby walls clad in Turkish Onyx Marble reminiscent of rugged coastlines that embrace the sea…
